Emma Fernelius
Board Member
Emma Fernelius lives in Utah, where she has spent the past seven years teaching and investing in the lives of her students. As an educator, she has seen firsthand how education can transform confidence, expand perspective, and open doors that once seemed out of reach. She believes deeply that education is one of the most powerful tools a person can have to create opportunity and shape their future.
With degrees in Photography and History, Emma brings both creativity and context to her work. In the classroom, she teaches world geography and explores how communities develop and thrive, helping students understand their place in a broader global story. These lessons have strengthened her passion for supporting communities beyond her own.
Emma is honored to support RCP USA through marketing and social media, using storytelling and visual communication to share the mission and impact of the organization. She looks forward to being more hands-on in the development and infrastructure of the Rabondo community, combining her love for education with a heart for sustainable growth and long-term opportunity.
For Emma, serving on the board is more than a role — it is a commitment to helping create pathways for children and families to build brighter futures through access to education and strong community foundations.
