Stephen Ooko is an Information Technology professional whose life and career were profoundly shaped by the Rabondo Community Project. As a student supported by RCPUSA, he received the educational foundation and mentorship that helped him grow personally and professionally, a formative experience that fuels his continued dedication to the organization.

Stephen has been involved with RCP since its early years and worked closely with the founder, the late Timon Bondo. Having had the opportunity to learn directly from Timon, he carries forward a clear understanding of the project’s mission and long-term vision. Those early experiences continue to guide his leadership and reinforce his commitment to serving the Rabondo community.

He currently serves as the Country Director and Board Secretary for Rabondo Community Project Kenya (RCPK), overseeing all project implementation on the ground. His responsibilities include managing operations, coordinating initiatives, and leading official communications on behalf of the Board. In addition, he provides mentorship and support to students, ensuring beneficiaries receive guidance in both academic and personal growth.

Stephen’s work is grounded in a deep personal connection to the community and a belief in the transformative power of opportunity. His leadership reflects gratitude, integrity, and a commitment to advancing the project that once supported him.
